Monika Logan, LPC, LSOTP
Ms. Logan specializes in Parental Alienation. Ms. Logan has extensive experience and training in working with troubled, damaged, and strained parent-child relationships. Ms. Logan provides Individual and Family Counseling services for parents considering and/or in the process of a separation or divorce. Ms. Logan works with adolescents who are often in the middle of adult conflict. In addition, she conducts Psychosexual Evaluations and Risk Assessments. Although Ms. Logan generally uses a cognitive-behavioral approach, she realizes everyone is unique and will tailor treatment interventions and treatment plans based on individual needs and best practices. Ms. Logan welcomes all clients but also provides a faith-based approach for those who request, desire, and/or have a Biblical worldview as well.
Ms. Logan’s past experience includes the treatment of both juveniles and adults with Sexual Behavior Problems, evaluations for the criminal courts, Substance Abuse Evaluations, treating survivors of abuse, and teaching Parenting Education classes. In addition, Ms. Logan has also worked in a psychiatric facility, as well as a Case Manager for individuals living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Ms. Logan has a Master’s Degree in Counselling, and she is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP), and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (LBSW).
Ms. Logan is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, The American Counseling Association, The American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies. Ms. Logan is also a Continuing Education Provider for helping other professionals, and she is a founding member of the Texas Association of Family Forensics (TAFF). Additionally, Ms. Logan is trained as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (DBT), and as a provider for the New Ways for Families® through the High-Conflict Institute.
